Expedition Truck Manufacturers at Abenteuer Allrad
The European Abenteuer Allrad exhibition in Germany is an excellent opportunity to see the work of Expedition Truck manufacturers currently active in the market. Here’s an impression of the Expedition Trucks at the 2013 exhibition, have a look.
Expedition Truck Market impression in 2013
Although economical times are challenging, the European expedition truck manufacturers at Abenteuer Allrad 2013 made an impressive presentation. Most had a new truck model on display, some almost finished to be delivered to a customer.
The European manufacturer market is still overwhelmingly German, but their customers are increasingly more international. Also two new expedition truck companies were present at Abenteuer Allrad 2013 both from the Netherlands.
With the growing number of manufacturers there are also quite a few pre-owned Expedition Trucks for sale worldwide.
Unicat, Action Mobil and Vox Format
Unicat had 3 trucks on display including a new MAN TGM 4x4 for a Russian speaking customer. It has a massive hydraulic lift for a spare wheel and motorcycle.
Action Mobile also had 3 trucks on display, including this MAN TGS 26.540 for a Austrian customer.
FOX Format presented a new Mercedes Zetros 4x4 for a customer in Mongolia. It's made to withstand extreme cold and dust.
Fuss Mobile, Tartaruga and Bimobil
Fuss displayed 3 trucks with one near completion based on 2nd hand MAN truck previously used for road construction.
Swiss based company Tartaruga had a MAN TGM 18.340 on display;
Bimobil had a Mercedes Benz Atego 1024 on display already seen on other exhibitions,,
Bocklet, Excap, and Ormocar
Bocklet had one relatively new MAN TGM 18.340;
Excap had a stand with two near similar Steyr trucks without living unit.

Ormocar had one Zetros truck with large overhead sleeper
Woelcke, Exploryx and Orangeworks
Woelcke gave its Autark Explorer based on a Mitsubishi Canter 6C18 a prominent position on their stand;
Exploryx showed a Mercedes Sprinter with a compact living unit;
Orangeworks came this year with a mid size Mercedes Benz 914
Moser, Bliss Mobil and Outbound
Möser had a neat Mercedes Atego 1024 on display;
The new dutch company Bliss Mobil presented a Mercedes Zetros 6x6 with 20 foot living unit with sea-container specifications;
The dutch company Outbound had a compact MAN 8.130 on display and had a special stand for camper unit windows
