This Unique 6x6 Expedition Truck has a LOT under its Carbon Fibr skin than first meets the eye. Its an - unprecedented - Expedition Truck Design taking 2 years to complete.
The extreme weight reduction combined with the Unimog 6x6 chassis enables the crew to reach places others with similar sized 6x6 vehicles can not.
Because of the weight savings the unique capabilities of the Unimog U2450 6x6 chassis are fully preserved compared to an Unimog built with conventional materials.
The Living unit weighs around 1.000 Kg , with conventional materials a similar length Living Unit weighs approximately 4.000 Kg.
All Carbon Fiber elements are hand-made with stylish & exquisite finish - inside and outside ! The uniquely shaped Interior has a bright, non-distracting and quiet atmosphere. The Carbon Aramid vacuum production process results in very lightweight, strong, stable and uniquely shaped constructions.
The Unimog U2450 6x6 is a rare and very capable chassis with 6 cylinder engine capable of burning high sulphur polluted diesel fuels. This truck received a brand NEW 6 cylinder engine tuned to 270 HP together with a modern U5000 gearbox to handle higher torques. With the super lightweight Living Unit, engine power is sufficient in most situations.
